Superb ruby red color. Wonderfully aromatic nose with lots of dark fruit and additional complex notes of roasted coffee, fresh oak, new leather, spices and a touch of pink pepper. It opens completely in the mouth and presents itself as a meticulously balanced and structured whole. The long and noble finish lets you enjoy in silence.

Hearty Sangiovese that likes to combine with a good piece of matured meat, lamb nuts, roebok fillet or other savory but refined meat dishes.

Climate

Continental climate with Mediterranean influences. Warm and dry summers with occasional precipitation due to the proximity of the mountains and mild winters with limited but regular rainfall. Many hours of sunshine.

Soil

Vinyard on slightly slopes with south to southwest oriented vines. Soil of clay and limestone underneath.

Vinification

100% Sangiovese. The name Era comes from the mountain that overlooks the vineyards. In Greek mythology, she is the wife of Jupiter and Goddess of faithfulness and fertility. Classic fermentation with strict harvesting and selection standards. Long maceration and maturing on French oak, partly new.
